Best/Favorite first song from a first album?

"She's Gone" - Hound Dog Taylor And The Houserockers.
I think it might have been the first ever song on Alligator Records.

That's a good'un. Now I'm going to get everyone upset. "More Than a Feeling" - Boston. Even though this is not the greatest single out there, it was pretty damn good, and it encapsulated all of what Boston was (or ever was later). It had all the attributes of a great AM and FM single, and anything after that doesn't count.

welcome to the working week - my aim is true

what a moment, the perfect introduction to Elvis

Great choice, Spidey. I'm going to give this some thought. Maybe "Born to be Wild". Maybe "Piece of my Heart". This requires research, and sober second thought, worthy of the senate.
