We are meeting at 11:00 a.m. at The Grill in the heart of 5 points, corner of 11th ave, and 20th st.
We will partake in said beverages, and some good food, than embark on a wild vinyl spending spree.

Hey - welcome aboard AK Maildude. Are you the Montevallo guy Mike bought the Pioneer equip. from? If so, we are neighbors (I'm about 5 minutes from the Montevallo line).

Yeah, I mow 2+ acres as well. Good thing I enjoy it, or it would drive me further insane.

Now, I need to figure out what I plan to hunt for tomorrow. I think it's time to buy all the Tull albums I have on cd on vinyl. I'm sorrowfully lacking in Tull in my vinyl collection. Maybe Drybasement could sell me some spares? ?

Yep JD, I'm the one that took Mikes money and then spent every bit of it on gas and beer within the hour. Actually, I live in Wilton, the gateway to Montevallo.

Hey Maildude - Welcome to AK!

Glad to hear that you could help feed Mike's addiction.

He apparently has this 'phantom' injury that allows him to avoid work and still get paid. Meanwhile he scours the internet for great vintage deals, while the rest of us are heads down at work.

Then he arranges these periodic 'get togethers' (I'm attending my first tomorrow) where he indulges in the juice - in front of working folk on their lunch break.
