Calling All Yamahas. Time to Post Your Pics

I posted these pics elsewhere here on AK a month or two back. My only Yamaha piece is modern, but I'm extremely satisfied and grateful to own it. It's my first 2-channel system, and it has already been the cause of a great deal of music appreciation/exposure for my family of seven.

I bet the Infinities love it...and do not worry too much abt the Yamahas...if the amps are stable and no clipping, cracking or popping, those 1000Ms can take some heat too...

BTW,

had all these hooked up to one single MX-1K, didn't even break a sweat while pushing them all at the same time :)

omg those Yamahas in the front are BEAUTIFUL! what are they called?

Another side setup...the black GT will stay here indefinitely amongst its darkhorse friends. Man, the NS-1000x's sound so good way up there and the M-85 drives them with ease.

I gotta say I'm still really enjoying this setup. The NS-1000x's are sounding better than ever (more life and realness, less dark/monochrome that I experienced when I first got them...Audyn Q4's the longest break in ever?) and the dual pre-out on the C-2x is indispensable. For mid-range focus and detail I first use the NS-1000x's with the M-85 but if a track seems a little bass shy or "small" I switch it over to the NS-F901's with the B-2x and crack it wide open with plenty of low bass and kick. I simply can't live without a multi-setup.

Nice cabinet, DIY?

I have a
Rx-v657
Rx-v675
Rx-v2500
I used to think A/V receivers where junk no power because I grew up in a home that had a yamaha separates until I bought one at action paid 50$ and that rx--657 runs my Norman's and I use the Rx-v675 in the living room and let me tell you without the remote they are about useless and the right remote isn't cheap especially the Rx-v2500 the cheapest is 50$ and that more than I paid for the receiver but outside of that I've always been a yamaha fan
