DCM TIMEFRAME TF2000 - The legendary mythical monster lives!

There is a pair of DCM Time Frame TF2000 speakers for sale right now on eBay. I hope I'm posting this in the right place and if I'm not, please forgive me. I'm in a bit of a rush and am trying to get this information posted as fast as possible so some lucky club member can have these wonderful speakers at a great price. Again, my apologies if I'm posting in the wrong place. These speakers are so so rare and made of absolute unobtainium! Somebody please go get these speakers now! I would love for one of the club members to have these and enjoy these wonderful speakers! These are the most rare model in the TF line and never come up for sale. I personally think they're worth far more than the $800. that the seller is asking for simply because of how rare they are! I think the right person would pay $2000 for these easily anyway that's just my opinion. I hope that this alerts someone in the area and I hope it gives them many years of listening bliss. The whole TF line in my opinion from the 700's up are really great and under rated sleepers. The legendary monster exists!

I just looked again and they are still there. Search DCM TimeFrame TF 2000

Tried that; only shows '350 & '600. Gladiator's link worked. I'm running through a European VPN; maybe it's a US only listing. Wish I had the scratch for these and a trip to the east coast!! They're gorgeous.

If these are legendary and mythical, one would think some pics would be captured and posted. When the auction ends, this thread will contain nothing but a useless URL. Usually, I would, but my storage limit is getting too high and I prefer to post pics for threads I create.

If those were local to me, they'd already be gone, but factor in a trip to the States --towards the East coast, no less-- and shipping, and well...forget about it! I hope whoever gets them really appreciates them. I'm sure as the TOTL TimeFrames, they must sound fantastic.

They sound incredible! I heard them at the CES. Sound like the TF700 and TF1000, with amazing bass extension.

I'm kinda curious as to what speakers he's keeping if TF2000's are expendable.:scratch2:

???? those are Polk SDA's!

I just searched that CL and found the link for the DCM TF2000s

he askin' a Grand ...

Beautiful pair of rare speakers here in mint condition! These stand just about 5ft. tall and have intense crisp sound. If you are seriously interested please email me with your contact number. First $1000 bucks cash takes these home. You will need a truck or big SUV and I will help load. No steps here and I have a dolley. Nice easy move. Looking forward to hearing from you. I am also willing to trade for a nice chunk of cash and a clean vinyl record collection of significant size.

1 day, 8 hrs... tick tock!

I just checked in again on these and they are still available... 1 day, 8 hours from auction end. Please tell me some lucky AK member is going to snap these up. Not only are these bad boys amazing in detail and imaging, but so rare that if one was to buy these to flip, doubling, or tripling ones money wouldn't be out of the question (imho). These are in fact so rare, I could see some high roller buying them simply for bragging rights! Selling them on AG would be the way to go to expose them to some deep audiophile pockets! Does anyone have any info on how many tf2000 pairs were sold? I'm guessing below 50 pair. :scratch2:

Hard to see how you'd flip them for double or triple if no one is buying them now ...
but it seems like a really nice price for such exclusivity and (probably) nice sounding speakers ...

Speculating, because although I had TF400s, TF500, TF600s, TF700s and TF1000s -
I haven't heard any TF2000s - but I can imagine the evolution from the ones I've heard ...

They're back!

Well it looks like the DCM Timeframe TF 2000 mythical speakers are back on the chopping block on ePay. Really? I wish I could nab these, but they are just too far away and of course, like almost every other time when the stars align, my funds are completely in the negative. One word... UBERRARE! Can you feel your arm getting red yet from me twisting it?

It's all about where you post them and how deep the pockets are that they are in front of! Its like comparing a garage sale setting to a high end New York auction house for fine things. I know that's a bit of an exageration, but you get what I'm saying. Those speakers may not be loaded with a million high end drivers in a tapered line array, but don't discredit the amazing clarity, definition and soundstage they deliver! Sometimes a simple design will make you pick your jaw up off the floor! I'd take a pair of TF 2000 with a good sub over for example a pair of Polkaudio SDA-SRS anyday and those fetch more. Plus they are way more rare! Just my 2 cents.
