ever reach a boiling point? wether a stupid reason or not?

no they will NOT control all functions on the sr7000.

Well perhaps not all of them, I wouldn't be completely surprised by that but just for clarity/posterity sake here is a list of all of the SR7000 functions that it will handle:

Realize you managed to get an original which is great! That can be really hard to do sometimes. The list of functions isn't too shabby though and no need to read a manual: download the software, hook your remote to your computer via the provided USB cable, set it up via their interface, save profile to the device, and your good to go.

you do know the orignal remote does NOT hook up to a computer. maybe you didnt know that? also the sr7000 has 0 hdmi hook ups. but it doesnt matter anymore. as i've said several times, i have a pioneer coming this week. should be here thurs/fri, since it was shipped one state away from me :)

Yes I do :) I was speaking of the Harmony remote (that is how you load your devices on it from the extensive Harmony database). As I said, I am really glad you managed to find an original as that is clearly the easiest solution to the problem! I just wanted to clarify for anyone reading this thread (or doing so in the future) that the Harmony should be more than sufficient to get them going for this and many other devices if they can't find the original factory remote.

theres nothing about harmony in that comment. you simply hook your (mine) remote to computer. meaning the one i have. clarify is a powerful tool.

(hook your remote to your computer viathe provided USB cable, set it up via theirinterface, save profile to the device, and yourgood to go.)- see what im saying here?

a pioneer cdp - pd 102 and a tapr deck wc-506 something.

I have not lost my temper for about 20 years give or take a few. What ever happens ,happens,by me getting bent out of shape zero will change so why lose it?

i had that same mic yrs ago along with a cobra base cb i forget what model #
I still have a couple of them actually, mated to assorted radios that I have not turned on in a couple of years. The Tram D201a runs an unamplified one.

All in all I've gotten vastly more patient over the years, but teenagers can be jerks. Having been one, I can attest to that :) As I get older I get lazier too, and I'm not interested in putting out the effort that a good temper tantrum requires. Its much easier to just go "f- it" and come back to the problem later.
