Harman Kardon 430 Twin for Infinity RS 1.5 speakers?

Hi, I am just getting started trying to build a hi-fi set up. I acquired some awesome Infinity RS 1.5 speakers that are in great shape and am using them for a Pro-Ject RPM 1.3 Genie Turntable. Right now the receiver I am using is a cheap Onkyo htib one until my husband refurbs a Scott LK-72 tube amp for me to try with it. I have the opportunity to purchase a Harman Kardon 430 Twin receiver for $75. The person selling sent me pics.. It looks nice and clean.. He tested it and said everything works perfect, even the lights....
My question is, is $75 an ok price and will the receiver power those speakers sufficiently? From what I have read the Harman Kardon 430 Twin is min. 25 watts per channel and my Infinity RS 1.5 speakers are meant to be used on amplifiers or receivers of 60-250 watts per channel RMS. I'm not trying to rock the house down with these speakers. I just want it to sound good at a normal listening level. Thanks for any help or advice!

25 min

Wow I had to double check the 25w min rating. I picked up a 430 twin not too long ago and thought it was more powerful than that based on listening (I just forgot what is actually was rated at by now).

I am not familiar with the Infinitys. I only have small bookshelf Infinity in my collection. But for "easy" listening, I've never found a small receiver/amp and high power speakers to be a problem.

I was impressed by the 430. I haven't had a lot of time to listen to it. I had to re-light eveything and was impressed by the look. Internally it is built solid.

The price seems fair to me. $60 sounds better (maybe I'm too cheap). The beauty of H/K is that the manuals are available at H/K site for free and their service manuals are really nice.

I doubt you would be disappointed, depending on where you are, you could probably re-sell it fairly easy.

h/k web site

Nevermind.. it sold..
I may be able to get a HK 750 but I can't find much info about it...
Too bad about the 430. I went to the H/K web site and they have the 750 owners manual. I doesn't list the specs and looks like the newer "comsumer" grade runof the mill. I'd not be interested in it.

Thanks for the input. after finding what little I could on the 750.. it did not look like anything I would want either...
