If y'all see Rich roaming the halls

Rob, I was surprised to learn how extensive this cancer is in your body. You are on the journey we all must travel. You’ll get home before we do. Christ conquered death. In Him believers have no fear of death. The grave cannot hold us. Jesus told us, He has gone to prepare a place for us. This is your homegoing. Rejoice knowing soon you will be in your eternal home with the Father. Free from pain, free from worry, free from sadness and free from the troubles of this world.
May God fully bless you, your family and those who love you. Part of your spirit will live on in each person you’ve loved and touched.
Thank you for your witness. You are loved.
Bob
Home indeed. Life is worth the living just because He lives. One can study The Resurrection like any other event on the timeline we know as history, plus the inner witness. He lives. Wish I was there, where two or more are gathered in His name... F cancer.
No truer words have been said. Accepting Him as your Lord and Savior, you will live forever, pain free and cradled in the bosom of my Lord Jesus Christ. I indeed look forward to meeting you there in the heavenly places, where the music we love will be perfectly in tune and better than any earthly sound system we can imagine! You have touched many here on AK with your strength through this trial, and I wish Godspeed to you my brother as you embark on this new chapter in your life.

Wow Rob,

I still am pulling for you. As someone going through this myself. I am gonna let the good words already spoke here stand in for me. I honestly don't have words of my own.

You have touched my heart Rob.

Frannie

What can I say except thank you for being my friend. If you want to message me, I am here. If you can talk, call me. If there is another side, we will meet

Friends always, here, there, anywhere. I am heartbroken, never expected it to go this way. Platitudes I have none, love for a brother, plenty of. Tears, yeah they are coming now

I love you man

@ETLS , Rob, we got off on the wrong foot a while back and I posted something that wasn't helpful. For that I apologize. I certainly hope you get a chance to see this, but going forward, know that I will be praying for you. You deserve all the credit in the world for going through this fight with such a good attitude. Take care.

Brother, i never latch onto things said and fuel my days/weeks from it. We're good, so consider this my acceptance of your apology. We all have moments when we let off some steam, all's good.

And thank you for your kindness.

Good morning Rob, it’s a beautiful sunny Sunday here in South Carolina. A day to remember and/or honor our mothers. Mine has been gone more than forty years and I still miss her.
I’ve been praying for you and your situation. It’s all I can do. May God’s peace, love and mercy be with you today and until He calls you home.
Bob

I’m going to put this here because I don’t know where else to go with it. To Frannie, Ron, Bob, Grumpy & Ms. Grumpy, my daily prayers will continue for each of you. May God bless you fully, meeting all your needs, and keep you in his care.
Bob

Just today learning of Rob's bad news.

I will say this, as words fail - We are immortals experiencing life in a mortal body. Rob's light burns bright, and he has already experienced the worst the big C has to offer, so let your strength you've already shown light the way.

"Death is just the other end of being born." - Donald Burgett, 101st Airborne "7 Roads to Hell, the Battle of Bastogne".

Rob, with any luck, your sweet spirit and mine will one day cross paths.

I would be remiss since i've started this and as yet to acknowlege others' dealing with life-altering circumstances. Y'all have been on my prayer list as well. I pray each and all find comfort and and support in your daily lives and feel free to reach out if you're at the intersection of wit's end.

Rob your indomitable, take no shiite attitude towards this ordeal should be textbook example on how to deal with such a formidable situation. You sure have the gift of humor in the face of adversity, & I thank you for sharing this gift. You've made me laugh my brains out a number of times since I found your thread & started following, just to read your next hilarious post(s) & check your progress or lack thereof. Youre truly a human gem, the kind we need more of. Please, if not already done, share your AK login data with someone close so they can advise your fan club here of your eventual "promotion". Keep in touch as long as youre able to, my friend, we're counting on it. Prayers going out your way!
Jerry

I can't add any more than what has been shared, other than to say you have touched our hearts in such a way, showing how to deal with things that seem beyond our control.

You've drawn members together, in such a communal way that AK is far more than just an audio site! You've left your "stamp" on this site that will continue to live on.

As others have commented, we will cross paths with you in the future.

It's been an honour to have known you, sir!

Well put, Quadman.

Thanks.

I've been following this thread since the beginning, I haven't commented because Rob and I have never crossed paths in other threads to my knowledge. As I've seen since late 2025 Rob is one hell of a human being, to be that upbeat when your life is on the line blows me away, I can only hope I could be that upbeat when my time is near, and I don't think it's that far away for me either. ;)

Rob, my friend, my brother in Christ, are you still with us? Just nod if you can hear us ;). Yes, I’m still here and still praying for you and the rest of our little group - Frannie, Ron, Bob, Grumpy and Ms. Grumpy. Praying that hospice can manage your pain until the Father calls you home. May He bless you fully today and meet your every need. Keep your faith and rest in the assurance of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Bob
