Klipsch KG-2 Speakers with Panasonic 16 0hm receiver

I have my first receiver (a Panasonic that was purchased back in 1967 or 1968). I also have my wife's KG-2 speakers. We have moved into different house and was thinking about the KG-2's in the garage/workshop area,

Can the KG-2's work with a 16 ohm system or should I find a different receiver?

I've rarely seen or head of a 16ohm receiver without transformer taps. Unless it's a high-current amplifier I wouldn't try to drive a 4ohm load with it. I've run 4ohm speakers on receivers with 6-8ohm output without a problem, but I think 16 ohm would be pushing it. What is the model number of the receiver?

I have added a photo of back to show where it shows speaker output at 16 ohm.
The unit is a Panasonic RE-76709D. Speakers are bad but they are 16 ohm.
