Magnavox CDB 560 manual and remote?

Good morning... picked one of these up a couple weeks ago. Didn't work when I first tried it, but I pulled it off the shelf last night (after shelving a CDB 582 which is working and I also figured out the remote codes for) and it appears to be working fine, I just have to figure out which remote codes work on this one.

The only manual I can find for this unit is a German language service manual for a Philips CD560. Is that all there is? I was hoping to at least be able to find the original part number for the remote control so I could set up a search for it, although that's a bit of an affectation.

So far this thing seems pretty nice, it's messed up a few times but I kept playing it and it seems to have mellowed out now. (was skipping on later tracks, I'm hoping that's just a mechanical issue)

Somehow I went from having none of these despite knowing to look for them for years to finding two of them within a few weeks! (also found a CDB 482 but that one might not be worth fixing, the transport is mechanically broken and a spring is missing, maybe someday I will mess with it but I have a better looking Technics unit that I need to figure out as well.)

I also would really like to see a user's manual for this as I found two remote codes that this unit recognizes but I can't puzzle out exactly what they do. (Protocol RC-5, Device 20, OBCs 51 and 63)

Back to the top. I have yet to find a remote for this or even what the part number is. I was able to find one for my CDB 582 (4822 218 20782)

I was able to find working remote codes for this, if anyone wants to send to Logitech or Sofabaton feel free, Logitech tech support were kind of jerks the last time I corresponded with them, as if I wasn't doing them a favor by sending them remote codes, but they insisted that I convert them to Pronto hex and then bitched about the spreadsheet I sent them. But the cool thing is there are codes that work that aren't physically on the remote, so if you have a universal remote, properly programmed, it works well.

I have a CDB 580 which came with the remote. I found the remote works also with my CDB 630. Haven’t tried it with the CDB 560 or 473. When I get home tomorrow I will try it out and post the results.

Thanks, but I'm really looking for the 100% correct one, and I have not been able to find a manual for this unit nor any eBay listings with good enough pictures to ID 0so I don't have any search terms to look for one. To actually control the unit, I could program an Xsight Color and that would have all the functions on it.

I know, it's a sickness.
