Onkyo TX-4500 MKII Images and opinion

Looks like it will take a bit more rearranging then I had planned to get it somewhere where I can uncover it, however in comparison to the MkII th TX-8500 has a different power supply setup, that much I can tell you. Still a very well built receiver and if memory serves it looks a bit cleaner on the inside than the MkII.

I'd have done it tonight but moving the Project One Mark 1500 for nudies was enough work. I didn't feel like moving any more receivers after that one. :)

I absolutely love mine:

No lettering stealthy-ness. Well, it's there, just faded, but it looks menacing!!!

Paired with a Technics SL1400...this thing is sweetness. Especially to my wallet.

I've no vintage Onkyo, tho' I'd love a big amp or integrated from them. Lovely gear.

I have an A-8017 integrated and an M-5160 power amp; the total DC offset for the two of them, as purchased used, is maybe 3 mv. For some reason that impresses the hell out of me.
