John C. Active Member Sunday at 3:29 PM #1 I've had this problem with my Oppo DV 983H, the tray is very difficult to open, it will usually open if there's already a disc in there but if it's empty, that's when it gets stubborn. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks!

Duane AK Member Monday at 7:36 AM #2 Sounds like a tray belt problem. Did a search for your player, but found a video for the 981. It might help.
