Pics of your listening space

I finally got the giant speakers out of the way and they sound so much better. In more ways than one, there's more room to hear them now. They were blocking any gear on those rack shelves and obstructing access to the rest anyway. They're nicely de-coupled from the floor this way, too. Big improvement.

I like this a lot. Just enough electronics to enjoy music and a beautiful room to enhance the experience.
Thanks. I picked up the Pioneer not long ago from offer up or marketplace, don’t remember which one. But the guy took me down into his basement to test the receiver and my jaw dropped. He had wall after wall of receivers, speakers, you name it! I wouldn’t be surprised if he was a member on here!

Got the old NHT 2.9's back out after about 8 years. Sounding pretty good in the new house!

We do have similar taste in rugs. Cool speaker/gear stands. Are those custom made or did you get lucky on finding just the right size?
They are just Chinese made Amazon specials, 7 or 8 tiers/shelves, but very well made and robust. Initially, I wanted to display all my amps and receivers on them and have easy wheeled access to the back for component switching, wiring, etc. I also like my gear up where I can see it so I don't have to get down on the floor. Having all the gear on the racks forced the speakers out front which effectively blocked the view and access to the gear. Finally realizing my defeated purpose, I removed all the lower shelves and put the speakers on the bottom shelf leaving room for two components at the top of each rack. I'm actually liking it quite a bit. I've realized it's near impossible to run so many amps, connect multiple sources, and really enjoy them. This opens up the room, gets the speakers out of the way, and gives the speakers more room to work. They sound much better and I can move things around more easily. Over the last year I've reconfigured those racks, that big console, and my gear countless times - it's a full day's work! Feeling like I finally have a setup that is more streamlined and functional. I have some B-speaker cable routed under the console so I can always bring in another pair to play with.
