Pioneer SX-1980 - 10k lol

It was a month ago.

Does CL have a time limit for how long a listing stays on CL?
I know you can't access "old" listings, but when is a CL listing determined to be old and then disappears?

It's also possible whoever posted it deleted it. Or CL deleted it for not being a legit listing.

It's still on there but relisted. Every time he lists it some dude makes relists his troll listing that he's edited a couple times. It's kinda funny honestly though I don't condone trolling peoples listings even if it's outrageous. I do think the troller has a point though, this guy seems kinda sus and he's basically attempting to sell a "working" 1980 as if it's some completely restored unit when he just replaced a few parts with unlisted brands. I'm not gonna bother linking the threads because he doesn't need more exposure lol. I honestly don't know why someone doesn't just try to sell a unit like this on here or on ebay where you have a larger audience and just use a professional shipping company with insurance if you don't want the shipping hassle.

According to CL, free postings last 30 - 45 days depending on location and category. My local CL keeps posts in Electronics active for 45 days.

As with any purchase, especially used goods on CL or elsewhere, it's caveat emptor. I've learned from experience.

Thanks Mingo. I figured they must disappear at some point, was not sure what that point in time is.

Just guessing, 3 reasons for listing it on CL.
1. To make a cash transaction thereby possibly bypassing any income tax implications.
2. To avoid packing and shipping that heavy item, taking the risk of shipping damage out of the equation. Not to mention avoiding NAD or other claims, legit or not.
3. 1 + 2
Since I don't sell anything there might be other reasons I'm not aware of or had not thought of.
