Pioneer SX-626 blows right channel fuse

The right channel fuse blows immediately on turn on. I cannot find any shorts. I removed the output transistors for that channel and I can power up without blowing fuse. Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks.

Measure across the trimmer resistors with the power off that control the bias voltage. VR3 and 4. They are 100 ohm trimmers, so the should measure somewhere in the middle of the 0 -100 range.

The bias and/or offset trimmers on the amp board go bad and cause the fuses to blow. Check and replace as needed and you'll probably fix this.

It appears that this is the case. One of the two trimmers measures as open. The same trimmer for the channel that works, measures 58 ohms. I'll look for some replacements from Digikey, thanks.

There are more unique ways of doing it using the old trimmers as a base for the new ones. I just replaced them with these. I tied the middle leg to a outside one.
