My new to me SX-9000 needs a bunch of work. For one the amp section apparently had issues so it's grounds were snipped and the unit was used as a preamp.
I was wondering if i should try to reestablish this connection and give it a try and see what symptoms were apparent but I'm also wondering if there are issues with the amp section that were common and would have likely been the original cause of the bypass.
I'll try to get it open and take some pix and report back later in the day but I wanted some preliminary info first.
