Thanks for the link. We had done the doggie DNA test on our Kya when we first got her and she's a mix of cattle dog, pit bull, german shepard, lab and mastiff.
I don't know the age of your Paya but we've had our pound puppy since she was 3 months old. She's 14 months old now and has calmed down significantly with the ankle biting. This is normal cattle dog behavior which is part and parcel of some herding breeds which uses the "heeler" biting to get the herd in line. So my take on why she doesn't do it as much with us is she has us trained now LOL! I also believe the daily walks (especially in parks with lots of people around) helped with that. She was nervous at first, but she loves it now. The walks also helped me as I lost 15 lbs!

Paya is ~6 years old. The dogs are both rescues. Paya will attack anyone holding a bag, especially going for the bag, is scared of anyone carrying anything of size, and will chase trucks (especially UPS), vans (especially Amazon), delivery vehicles, and mail carts, electric bikes, but not cars.

She goes for Linda's caretaker's heels, who loves her and fends her off when necessary, and would rip Linda's therapist to shreds if she could.

Someone probably dropped something on her at some point which is why she afraid of people holding things.

I'm glad you got rescues, I wouldn't go anywhere else for a dog. But at 6 years old, she unfortunately is not gonna change her behavior very easily.

Hey So Cal Ak'ers, I'm not sure if this appropriate or not for this thread? But I just saw this single Vott-A7 (Voice of the Theater) speaker with Altec drivers come up for sale in San Diego, and the price ($500) looks good (it's not mine). Thought maybe one of my fellow So Cal members might like it? Hope everyone is doing well : )
