Does anyone here have an original Sumiko MMT with the auxiliary counterweight? If yes, would you please weigh the aux weight and post the info here? a good photo would help, too. Many thanks in advance!
I found this, but not sure if it is compatible with the Sumiko MMT?
The owner of this company can perhaps provide you with the counterweight stub diameter it is compatible with, and its weight.

Thanks for the pointers. I'd seen these links; slightly different than what I'm looking for, but a possible alternative if I don't find the original... but I think I've found one

Hi,
I pointed out these links, because the Sumiko Arms at that time were essentially re-branded Jelco Arms.
Besides type, size and weight, of course there's the possible minor differences of color hue-appearance.
On one of my Audioquest Arms, (PT-9 but Jelco Based) I use an older Expressimo Heavyweight, Stainless Steel, looks nice. A little more difficult to adjust though, but doable.
The newer counterwights they make today look ugly by comparison, like somebody chopped off half the weight with a hacksaw.
The original Sumiko MMT is often cited as equivalent to the Jelco 370H OEM arm, but with an aux counterweight and with a cable plug instead of flying leads. Helpful info: the aux counterweight from an MMT will not fit the 370H. MMT aux counterweight inside diameter is 17.4mm. 370H counterweight outer diameter is 19.0mm. Tab A doesn't fit into slot B
I need help I have a MMT tonearm and I need to find out the part number from the original counter weight and pictures would be good also I would like to purchase one if anybody knows where and or is willing to part if they have one. Please help
