Tera Labs RSC Reference Speaker Cable....I need Help!

I have 2 pairs of Tera Labs RSC Reference Speaker Cables I bought over 35 years ago. They are very stiff. Anyhow, 4 spade lugs broke. It is just a pain in the neck. I replaced them with Kimber Kable 12tc, and I love them. I'm wondering if it's worth repairing them or turn them into interconnects. I contacted Tera Labs for repair work, to no avail. The conductor looks like a flat ribbon uncased in hard silicone/plastic. These where super expensive cables back in the day. If anybody have any ideas just so it wouldn't end up in the trash, please let me know. Actually, I don't have the heart to throw away my hard earned cash.

No repair suggestions here. But I think your question would get much better exposure if you posted it in the general audio section.

Thanks for the replies!

It's kinda hard to see, but it is a flat ribbon type conductor. I asked Tera Labs if they would repair them. They never replied. The insulation is about 1/4" thick and made of hard silicone/plastic.

Are you certain you are contacting the correct company? Looking at your post you list them as Tere Labs and there is a company like that in Europe but pretty sure they don’t make cables. Check out the website taralabs.com

Those are some great interconnects. I used to have a pair of their RSC speaker cables.

Yup....I contacted Tera Labs. They are still make cables. I wonder if someone makes huge crimp on spades/bananas I could silver solder on? The crimp would be huge but the spade is normal size? So they would bite into fat insulator.
