The Good Morning (Your First Logon for the Day) Thread

Good morning. It’s 43°F going 65. We had extremely high winds for the past two days. It sounds calm out there this morning. It it stays calm I might get to motorcycle out again. The winds should cave eaten away the snow.

Nothing else, except the gym, on the schedule which is fine after yesterday’s back to back doings. I need to sit down and practice the guitar and work on a drawing I started a few days ago.

Good Morning,

Happy Friday. I hope you are all doing well. Weather has been warming here, which is a nice change. Still plenty of snow everywhere, but at least the roofs are clearing up and driveway is slightly better.

Heading to the dump soon, it was closed on Tuesday due to snow. Domestic stuff for sure...dishes, laundry, vacuum and dust.

Planning on going to Providence tomorrow night to hear Kristen Du Mez speak. Probably go to Federal Hill for dinner before hand.

Leftovers for dinner tonight...unless I get inspired .

Cheers

TMI: 24 hour urine collection in progress.
Planning on marking your property ?

Red flag warning here at the mile high city of Casper, WY! That pesky wind has returned for another blow at us, but is bring a chance of precipitation from Saturday night till Tuesday, I guessing we'll get about 3 drops just to make them accurate!

Gonna get my taxes started this weekend, hopefully finished too. Finally worked up the courage to fire up the refurbished laptop I bought, as expected , they try to sell you everything and want to know your business. Took a half day to get through all the do da. I'm feeling burnt out from it all and will probably wait until tomorrow to attack the taxes.

People are moving out of the USA more than they are moving in! Too expensive to stay in the USA. if I had my health I wouldn't move, thought Wyoming ain't what it used to be I still have adventures I want to take. Haven't been up to Yellowstone since the 90's.

Have a loving and caring day, it's the only way to live! john

Good morning, y'all! We have a balmy 74 and mostly cloudy here today. I totally missed yesterday, went to breakfast with the vets and didn't get home until mid-afternoon. We've already got the grand to school this morning. Today I'll go walking this afternoon after I go help a vet buddy cut back some foliage that has overgrown from his neighbor's yard. Have an awesome day, everyone! Enjoy the music!

Good morning! Clear and upper 50s-lower 60s F for the walk, going to 90 (19 over average). Ten degree drop predicted starting Tuesday. Shorts weather has definitely arrived.

Upstairs AC came on late in the evening as I predicted, when the heat soaked through the tile roof. Problem, though, the compressor stopped working, and I woke up to the circulation fan running this morning with no cooled air. Outside fan is running but compresor is not. Hope it's just a capacitor, but this is the older unit (21 years), so we'll see. The HVAC guys are coming if/when it fits their schedule - any bets they make it while I'm 20 minutes away doing curbside grocery pickup?

Saw the neighbor this morining - all smiles because his oldest daughter's family including first (so far) grandchild are in town. Son-in-law has been stationed in Guam, now will be in Tennessee.

1000-piece jigsaw puzzle from "We Rate Dogs" arrived yesterday and I got started on the edges.

Have a great day!

Good Morning Folks. It is 42f on the porch, partly cloudy with predicted high of 60f. Yesterday's sunny day made for a good melt off and drying out. The mounds of snow in the shaded areas are half of what they were two days ago. Today's big happening is to see how many of the packed boxes we can fit in the camper shell covered bed of the pickup. I'll put the audio gear: Jolida integrated amp, phono stage and turntables travel in the cab. Tomorrow we start our two day trip east to our future home.
Take care everyone and have a great Friday.
Allan

Well the humidity shouldn’t bother him too much ;)

Good morning dear friends!

24° F and sunny, high 44. Basically a repeat of yesterday.

Got some sad news yesterday morning. A lady I knew got caught in the storm Monday and she died. She was only around 45 to 50. Very friendly lady. I didn't know her very well, but still upsetting. I don't know the details yet, so everything is hearsay which I will not repeat.

Having breakfast with friends, not sure what else is going on yet.

God bless you all!

Good morning. It’s 34°F going to 45.

I’m not sure what the first half of the day holds. I may or may nor go run with the running club this morning. I may or may not go to the pool a bit later with my wife and swim some yards. I may or may not bake some snacks. I will go meet a friend at the brewery this afternoon noon.

Good Morning Folks. It is 42f on the porch. Out of bed early for the trip east today. As soon as it lightens up outside Alice and are on the road headed east. The last thing thing that goes in the suitcase is my computer. My next check in here will be Monday morning from South Dakota!
Take care everyone and enjoy your Saturday.
