The Good Morning (Your First Logon for the Day) Thread

Good Morning! Clear and lower 80s F for the walk, wind from the south, going to low 90s.
Yesterday I opened the new backdrops to have a look, but didn't try them with the still life yet.

Have a fine day!

TMI: Yesterday got some gut heebie jeebies and diarrhea; a little chicken and rice soup for dinner last night and eating light, hope it's going away quick.

Good morning. It’s 38°F going to 52 with no rain. It was supposed to snow and drizzle but hat has changed.

Today I have another checklist of items to work through, most related to my leaving for a week and a half on Wednesday. I need to stop by REI for some backpackers meals and the bank for some small bills. I need to get the motorcycle out for a few miles to break in the new tires I had mounted last week. New tires have a coating on them (a release agent?) and one doesn’t want to hit any curves on wet pavement with that. I’m also going o weed and prep part of my vegetable garden. I’m doing seeds and trying collards and kohlrabi this year.

Good Morning,

Sunny and warm today. Weather sure changes fast, supposed to be in the 90's tomorrow. Suddenly the cold damp basement doesn't seem so uncomfortable anymore...

Busy last week. Brimfield on Wed in the drizzle, stayed home Thurs due to rain, cold but dry on Friday, Perfect and crowded with lots of newbies on Saturday . Sunday we got the bicycles out and did 15 miles in Old Saybrook.

Today there's plenty of laundry and household chores to do. I mowed Friday eve so don't have to deal with that for a week or so.

Have a great day,
CheersIMG_6942.jpg

Mornin’ Friends,
We have sun and high surf in our forecast today. It’s going be office work after my bike ride. You never know what is happening in HB this time year, but the season is starting off big this year. Friday the blimp dropped in to give some VIP types a ride to promote the Pacific Air Show in September. This one, the third generation, is amazingly maneuverable. Almost no ground crew even on a breezy beach upwind from the PCH hotel strip bridge. Same place where the helicopter crashed last year.

Good morning, y'all! We have 85, sunny and windy here today. Gusts up tp 33 mph. We were going to wash our windows today, but the wind has us postponing that chore for another day or so. I'll get out there and walk this morning after breakfast. No other plans yet. Have an awesome day, everyone!

Good Morning Folks. It is 20f on the porch. After two full days on the road, Alice and I got back in the mountains of Central Nevada late yesterday. Last night we received a light snow, just enough cover things. Currently it is sunny and any white stuff will be melted soon. After coffee it is off to town for mail, groceries and a late breakfast. After sitting for two full days I am looking forward to a very long walk this afternoon.
Take care everyone and have a great day.

Very good morning,
or as the Irish wish,
"Top 'o the morning

And fine fine day

Got relatives over

so I'll be eating
top end food
for the next while!

Shed me shoes
for sandals, and

short sleeved
shirts.

Umbrella's up,
and the Sheltie's

Grass is cut,
aerated and
seeded.
All is good!

Leaves are out,
we've privacy

Sky's bright blue,
but have to watch
the AV factor.

Thought to
wake up
the neighbours
with a bit of
CCR:music:...but the
wife talked me
out of this.

Just waiting to
hear someone
complain bout
the heat, and they'll
have a piece of
my mind:bigok:...for
what's left, eh?

May this day,
go as expected
with more than
a bit of music
in your world.:beerchug:

Good morning! Clear and upper 70s F for the walk, going to upper 80s. Wind from the SW. Both recycling and trash pickup came before 7:30. Since we got the new unified service, I'm in the earliest pickup area and need to get the tubs out the night before. Waste Management's schedule was later and I could forget the night before or deliberately wait to avoid roving javelinas during the night.

Today: Wash sheets. HVAC inspection - last time, I complained about ozone from the continuously running electrostatic filters. Now I can't smell any ozone and I'm going to ask for a check that they actually are running when the fans are on. Still working on a still life for camera club competition, not happy with it yet.

Have a great day!

TMI: Digestive woes have calmed down, probably was a combo of something I ate and IBS reaction.

Naturally, the snow storm predicted for tonight came last night, consequently, I didn't fertilize my lawn yesterday as it's not critter friendly fertilize I need to use. This is a normal Wyoming spring snow and the tree branches are sagging accordingly.

My ex-wife sent me a birthday present and I about fell of the chair. I've given one more opportunity to return home and do what she agreed to do when we were married. If she takes her time she will lose the opportunity as the girl I dreamed about and I have been getting closer to spending our free time together. She is so sweet natured I can hardly ignore her, and someone with the ability to manipulate activities from the outer limits put us together, strange but true. I believe we have known each other a very long time, I may know who she is but I'm not sure. Time has not treated her kindly but her looks are not my concern, what she is about is all that matters to me.

Well, the pain has got my auto immune condition on the rampage so I better say "have a wonderful day and bring joy to everyone you meet. john

Good morning all! Another hot one today, yesterday it hit 96°. Won't be quite that bad today, and it will cool off later in the week with some much needed rainfall.

I have a haircut this morning at 10:30. So why am I up so early? Don't know, but I will definitely take a nap after lunch.

Take care and have a great day!

Good morning dear friends!

62° F, mostly sunny, high 73.

I'm going to ask that all of you who practice any faith, pray for a friend of mine. I don't want to say too much about him. He needs prayers. Thanx to all who do.

Otherwise, I am trying to get 2 more people to help another friend clean out his attic. It doesn't seem like it should be so difficult just to get 2 more pairs of hands....

Right now, at Panera trying to get stressed over the aforementioned issues.

God bless you all!

Good morning. It’s 31°F going to 67. No rain until tomorrow.

I spent yesterday doing all sorts of chores after I went to the gym. Some of t was related to my upcoming trip. I went to REI and picked up some meals and stopped by the bank for some small bills. We have an election coming up so my wife and I dropped our ballots off at the courthouse. I did a few miles on my motorcycle to break in the new tires. I weeded and planted the two 4x8 raised beds. I am keeping it simple. I left the volunteer lettuce and planted seeds for kohlrabi, collards, and pole beans. A weird crop this year. I also gathered up the electronics and cables that I’ll take on the trip.

Today I’m swinging by the grocery store, have a meeting at the art museum at noon, and then meet a friend for our weekly 7-mile run. After that I’ll pack for the trip.

Good morning, y'all! We have 88 and sunshine here today. Wind has calmed down to 12 mph gusts. There's not much planned for today, after we take the grand to school and go walking at a different park on the way home. We're going to go see the Billie Eilish movie tonight on our Tuesday movie date. Have an awesome day, everyone!

Good morning! Clear, calm and upper 70s F for the walk, going to 90. Feels hot with no breeze.
Landscaper coming for overdue work today, topiared tree is really shaggy. Texted to ask when they'll be coming and to show a bush that's not doing well and probably needs replacing. If they get done early enough, I'll make a trip to COSTCO later, otherwise it will have to wait.

Have a great day!

P.S.
HVAC checked out all good yesterday. Guy explained that the excess ozone that I experienced previously was from the UV/ozone bulbs, not the electrostatic filters and that was what was rewired by the last guy to run only when the fan is on. Anyway, it worked.
