TIP41C vs KSC2073 in Pioneer power supplies

In the normal Pioneer gear (not super-fancy gear like the SX-1250 and SX-1980), for power supply use, is there any real reason to prefer one over the other? Also, is it possible to mix-and-match, or would that cause issues? For example, TIP41C plus KSA940 in an SX-780 power supply.

I know these transistors have different specs, I just want to know if there's a relevant difference for power supply use.

I recall reading not to mix the two

Long ago I asked why everyone was using a MJ15032G in a power supply instead of a TIP31CG. Years later, no issues.

As long as you stay within a device's design limits you can use any transistor. Certainly in a PSU environment.
