Visited a local small thrift recently. Wife spotted this console with stuff stacked on it. Hmm, looks to be tubes. Yep, that's good. No price and no sound. Asked about it. $5. Sold.
Got it home, played around in the back. Got sound. Thinking a tube was not seated.
It works and sounds like it has promise. Poor reception and the frequency drifts fast. Turntable turns but makes a lot of noise. No sound from the record that was on it.
Does not have auxiluary inputs and the speakers don't sound very good. This will likely be pulled, amp and tuner face plate in one piece. Use the current phone input for another source. Single RCA 6BQ5 per side.
Hope the pictures post well, this is my first attempt with my first digital camera.
Have schematic as well if it can be used in the database.
