So, the other day, this guy at work who knows I'm into audio gear asks me if I know of anyone who wants to buy an old console system. As the thread name implies, this is an old Philips/Norelco FX824A.
I don't know anything about these old consoles, but I told him I knew where to look for information and who to ask.
Uh, that'd be you guys.
Anyhow, it's in the northern suburbs of Detroit (and, yes, I am going to the SMAC meeting on Saturday, 9/19), so if anyone's interested or knows what a good price for one of these systems is, I'd certainly appreciate it.
He says everything works, and judging by the pictures of it he printed for me (yes, I will have them at the SMAC meeting tomorrow), the cabinet looks to be in cherry condition.
He didn't have a cable for his camera here at work so he just showed me the pictures he printed at home, and, boy, it's a gorgeous piece.
So, what's a fair price to ask for this?
If you're into gear like this, what would you pay for it?
Thanks.
