What’s your latest test equipment acquisition?

Phil, you have serious problem ;)

LOL

Lol I wouldn't exactly call it a problem, considering I'll be able to keep a bunch of things I want and make about 8x my money back on the rest! The real question is, do I have it in me to sell the really cool stuff that I don't NEED, but want

I don't know what's in that Wilcoxon box, but they made some really sensitive accelerometers that could be useful for loudspeaker or turntable measurements.
There are 12 accelerometers in there, each in their own little plastic box. IMG_6358.jpeg

There’s also some sort of Bruel kjaer accelerometer calibrator

Wow, great accelerometer haul! The price of those is steep and having the calibrator is priceless.

I find the kitty a bit scary!

well, it wasn’t a concern last night but it might be a problem after I bring this bad boy home tonight

Man! Save yourself the space, the time it will take to get it working, and the heartache and get yourself a modern DSO. I hate having to debug test equipment when I'm trying to use that test equipment to debug something else. At some point, you want something that just works.

Don’t worry I have plenty lol

Siglent sds1104xe (I never use this one, not a fan)
Along with other analog scopes like 2445b, 2467b, r7103, 7704 with all the cool plugins like differential comparators etc

Yeah I have a slight problem ;-)
Mostly wanted to play around with the 555 for the historical context

A triple nickel is one of my grails, too. Some one of these years... (And if practicality were a requirement, my house would be nearly empty!)

(And you don't have a problem until structures begin failing due to overload.)

<edit - grail, not grain - not sure how I mistyped THAT one...>
