What are you Listening To Right Now? - and more

I have some kinda signet cart from the 80s laying around, doesn't have a stylus at all... wonder if its the kind where the end user (me) can install new ones or is that a pro thing or juice not worth the squeeze?

Here, just grabbed it:

I don't see a removable stylus ass'y? I think you have a moving coil cartridge there? I would search the number- it may be fairly valuable?

Signet TK7LCa. Google says it's an MM cart... get old audiokarma results for new stylus, but kinda unclear which direction the posters ended up going... I guess I'll have to do my research.

Maybe something like this as a replacement stylus? Iono. Stylus for Signet TK-7LCa TK7LCa cartridge

Hey John. From what I've been told by a number of master distillers in Scotland, the aging process stops once it enters a glass bottle. Bourbon and rye would be no different.

yea that is true, but any regular drinker knows that once a bottle is opened it tends to air out a little and mellow out a little.

Not trying to “age” the whiskey, trying to let some of the ethanol evaporate off.

But yes I know a 10year old bottle of booze that’s 30 years old is still a 10 year.

Wow! You can hear right into the music, and pick out individual instruments with ease! Happy camper here! And the Cardas rewire is much better than the stock wire! And the Cardas cartridge clips are so much better than all the other shiit clips on other arms... a joy to use... :)
