Unless the FM stations are a lot better than my local ones, that 50 cents would be a total waste……..I’d get banned if I expressed my total distain about local radio stations, there are not enough sentence enhancers (curse words) available to to be used in that tirade

That sucks. We have a good modern rock station, a couple good classic rock stations, modern rap and r&b, modern pop crap, and the aforementioned NPR station WAMU which does Hot Jazz Saturday Night- national treasure imo

I’m not super interested but some good Afro beat and Spanish stations too

Edit: also some good live sports stations. I actually like listening to baseball way more than watching it

Back in the day my granddad used to sync up Skins radio broadcasts with the TV broadcasts

All that is to say I’d better download the t70 owners manual and see what I’m working with ha ha

We have quite a few good stations here....I pull in stations from Baton Rouge which is 58 miles East....

Dont forget the empty water bottles WITH caps just in case bathrooms are sparse.

Trying to keep a long story short but bear/beer with me here:

The friend who got me into HiFi was a guy I first met at DC United tailgate parties circa 2005.

Anyway he and I met a LOT of characters there over the years, and our group used to do chartered buses to road games close enough for that sort of thing

One year we somehow got a short bus for our trip to the Meadowlands and back. Meaning no toilet…suddenly this one dude known as Worm pulls out a huge empty tide jug after the first stop… it definitely got used LMAO

Side note. That driver was cool as **** and let us smoke weed and cigarettes in the back rows as long as the window was down.

Fun 4 hour ride lol

Excellent tour video with wildlife and scenery. Nothing local to me but very well done.

America needs more Rail Trails. I like rail trails because they keep cyclists and motorists apart. Like many of you I've had some close calls with cars recently, so I've been "riding the rails". I've rode some excellent trails, but there are still some great trails that I haven't been to yet. This is a list of my 15 favorite rail trails in the USA. Enjoy.

Had a long day today.Straightened out the garage somewhat then went over to mom's for more chores. She did pass a couple LP's on to me today. Not really my cup of tea but, they were hers and she loves them. Both Mono and from what i can tell the Streisand is an original 1964 Pittman 2-eye Columbia pressing and the Garland is a 1958-1959 Scranton repress.
Kind of fun figuring out the dates on these. It's not something i normally spend much time on.

Awesome brother! You were straight-on with your mom had that Streisand album.

I wish I had my mom's spinning wheel. I friggin hopped around the room like a friggin monkey with that one as a little tike

Pretty sure I remember the Streisand album too. It came out the year of the -Blitz in '64
