We had a black tabby who looked very similar to yours when I was growing up, we used to rent a house the local hospital owned back when my mom was still working as a nurse (retired), and the cat scratched his way half-way through a pair of 2x4 supports on the stairs on the back deck, I walk by there sometimes and the scratched up posts are still there, I almost want to just offer to buy them new lumber for the stairs just to get the old scratched up posts, not sure what I would do with them, but I know I would be really bummed if I walked past there one day and they had replaced them. he was a good cat, lived to be 19 as an outdoor cat.
That is really cool.

i remember when i used to do stuff like that. been like 40 years ago.
i did some hot rod work on a 76 brooik skylark sedan i took to germany to run the auto bahn. i was in the sorta fast crowd. topped out at 135ish but from jump, it was my world.
I still crawl under the car. The S2000 is really low, so a ramp with chocks on the rear seems the best way to do engine oil and transmission fluid changes. I'd love to have a good lift.

The car is sneaky fast. I drive it on the freeways about once every two or three months to clear all the cobwebs out of the engine. Too much stop-and-go daily driving. I like to go out at 6 am on Sundays, when there is little traffic. I'll be tooling around and look down at the speedo. "115." Hmm, better slow down. It feels like 70MPH. And when I slow to 70, it feels like 35MPH.
