Where to Find a Super Tweeter for a Pioneer HPM-150?

I just purchased a pair of Pioneer HPM-150s that showed up with a busted super tweeter. The bottom two levels of mylar have shattered. Does anyone out there know where I might find one of these and what it might cost? If acquirable, is this a simple-to-install part? thx

i once had a girlfriend who threw my pair in a pile in the front yard. busted several of the discs. they still worked. it is very hard to test those tweeters. they read open with a multimeter. they cross over at such a high frequency, most humans can't hear them to begin with. the only way i know of to check them for sound is to connect them directly to an amp at very low volume for a very short time. if they make sound, they are working.

i saw a parted out set on ebay a couple weeks ago. i think the super tweeters wound up going for just shy of a hundred bucks, but i didn't really follow all that closely.

it's been a while ago now, but i seem to recall that they are attached from the bottom. i think i had to pull the midranges and reach thru the hole to get to the nuts.

I've been looking for a single Super Tweeter for the past month with little success. A couple came up on e-bay last month, pretty pricey though.

Unfortunately I can hear the one that works therefore i'd like to get the other one working as well.....

The tweeter is screwed into the top, comes apart pretty easily, no need to remove any of the other drivers to remove it.

If I come across a pair I'll let you know as I only need the one.
