Anyone on here own or know someone with one of these XTONEBOX Silver 6011 Integrated Tube Stereo Amplifier? They look very appealing and really considering one while I save some pennies for a McIntosh MA7900 Integrated Amplifier and New Speakers. For now I don’t want to spend more than $1000 on a new Tube Amplifier that has Adjustable Bass & Treble and a Bluetooth option to be able to connect my phone when I’m not listening to Vinyl. In the mean time I would be using it with a McIntosh MP100 Phono Preamplifier and Paradigm Monitor 7 v7 Floorstanding Speakers. Would someone suggest a different Tube Amplifier that’s similar/better or think the XTONEBOX Silver 6011 would be a good fit for the setup I currently have? Here are the XTONEBOX Silver 6011 Integrated Tube Stereo Amplifier specifications and I will attach some photos:

HI, just FYI, you do know that only the preamp portion (inputs and controls) is tube. The power amplifier section (Class-D 30+30) is not tube. The early 60's types were usually known as hybrids or half & half. Yours is something like 50 years newer so it is purposely designed as a half & half.

Thank you for that information I’m glad I asked before purchasing. Does that mean since I’m using a McIntosh MP100 Preamplifier I wouldn’t be using the tubes and wouldn’t get that tube sound I’m looking for?

Some people will say that the tube sound comes from a tube preamp but I will argue that the tube sound comes from the final output stage being driven by tubes with an output transformer no matter if you are using a solid state or tubed preamp to the main amp.

A tube preamp driving any solid state amplifier to me is not giving you the true tube sound. It might be generating the tube sound from the tube preamp but the final output to the speakers is still sand or transistorized (solid state).

I'm not familiar with the MP100. Is it a tube phono preamp?

In my humble opinion, if you want the tube sound, just look for a tube power amplifier with a tube or solid state preamplifier. Millions out there. No need for something exotic or expensive. Look for Fisher, Scott, Pioneer......or even the console pulls like Magnavox, Zenith, Voice of Music, etc.

Ahh ok I see makes sense. I would really like an Amplifier that uses the tubes for it’s final output to get that Tube sound. I guess I’ll have to keep looking.

The McIntosh MP100 is a Solid State Preamplifier for both MM/MC Cartridges. It’s amazing really quiet and really convenient for me since I’m constantly switching between both types of Cartridges.

I am looking for a Vacuum Tube Amplifier, I thought the XTONEBOX Silver 6011 final output was powered by the tubes. It really caught my attention because it has Adjustable Bass & Treble Controls and has a Bluetooth Option. That’s mainly what I’m in the market for. A Vacuum Tube Amplifier, Adjustable Bass & Treble, and a Bluetooth Option. I don’t want to have to add extra components to get those features. I want to keep my setup as minimal as possible hence why I’m willing to spend the extra money. I know there’s plenty of Vacuum Tube Amplifiers that sound great and less expensive but most of those don’t come with the features I really want. So I’m hoping someone on those forums can point me to the right direction
