Yamaha NS1000M Bevenbi capacitors… a good idea?

I am doing a full recap of these speakers and am wondering if these will improve on the Jantzen standard Z-cap and ClarityCap PX I already have in there. Anyone familiar with this brand? I also have 47uF 100V non polar Dayton brand electrolytics in there and am wondering if replacing with 47uF film would be wise.

A random Chinese brand sold on eBay?

That's gonna be a no......

I'm a little late to this party. Interesting question, going down the rabbit hole huh? Ok, how good is your hearing? You didn't say what you are upgrading to. The caps you have in now are ok. Superior z's are smoother. Also more expensive. Can YOU hear a difference? I don't know. I tend to spend more on tweeter and midrange caps than woofer caps. That's me. From a pic I saw of the crossover, it looks like air core inductors. Not sure though. Do let them break in for a bit before judging too much. Some people can hear a difference and some can't. Have a good time with it and you may want to read a lot more regarding what you want to accomplish. Let us know your conclusions.

The black Jantzen crosscap range, below the 'standard' range, will be a similar price, but have a slightly smaller size due to their winding method.

Hi. Actually, I have been testing and using the Bevenbi caps for over a year now. Used several of their models, and I have to say they are excellent! Based on "bang-for-the-buck" I am going with all MKPA-C into the future. They are way better than the cheapies, and better than a lot of the name brands we all know. Closest is the Audyn+ models.

Audyn q4 is so cheap and the shipping is quick. Which is better?

Most people don't use 47uF film caps due to size and cost, not because they're not better. Guess it depends on how far you want to take the speakers....I'd do it.
