Pretty sure getting this Rotel RB-870BX Amp for $29 is a score. :yes:
couldn't test it at the store beyond a power up and the protection light going out promptly, but since this place gets a lot of good stuff (he still has a fresh truck full of electronics so I'm going back tomorrow) I figured it was a good bet. This is the same place I got my $29 Luxman R-1120.
This is my first separate Amp and the only Pre Amp I own is an ancient SS Dynaco, so I just skipped that part and fed it with an iPod for testing, used a pair of Minimus 7's for speakers since they were handy.
It works, it works great!
Sounds good despite the limitations of this setup.
I didn't need an Amp but some deals are just not pass uppable.
Note: the marks on the right side are goo from the price tag and will clean off, Amp is very clean other than some very light scratches on the top corner.
