Sansui stuff on Portland CL

Someone has been trying to sell a 666 combo for a long time on Portland Craigslist without lowing their asking price.

When they are asking ebay prices, the stuff tends to sit a bit longer. Plus, they don't have to pack the stuff, hope it gets there in one piece, and drive it to the shipper. It's great if you can sell it locally, but local people don't usually like to pay top $$$$, unless the equipment is something special. Brad

Well I haven't watched CL there for a while, but I believe the seller was asking $190 as of this posting.

That's the one. Those pieces haven't sold in over 6 months, yet the seller keeps asking the exact same price. Hasn't figured out the marketplace has determined his/her asking price is too high.

I sold a nice TU-666 Sansui tuner a couple of months ago on epay for $124.99. The guy was very happy, but if you only sell locally, many times you won't get top $$$$. It's just a fact of life. Brad
