What are the symptoms of a bad fuse? No sound, or just bad sound? My fuses were bad, too.

I have stands with my Braun L810's (pre ADS, made in West Germany) which set them at the correct height and are angled back.
No sound from the tweet dome. You should be able to tell if they are working by putting your ear up to them. The second generation had the fuses so yours don't have them. What are the symptoms of a bad fuse? No sound, or just bad sound?
Thanks!
Here is a photo of the Braun stands for the early L-810 so you know what to look for.
If yours have fuses they are the II versions and here are the correct stands for them.Thank you for the picture.Sure helps to know what I'm looking for.I assume they have to be drilled to attach. There are no factory holes on mine.
That's correct! Your speakers would have predrilled holes for machine screws (NOT wood screws!) if they were designed for the L-shaped stands. There would even be holes at the top and bottom ends of the back piece to allow for sideways mountingIf yours have fuses they are the II versions and here are the correct stands for them.
