I want to buy this Gorgeous TT but don't know too much about it so I'm hoping the Brain Trust here at AK can clue me in.The deck is a Micro Seiki DD40,with an Audio Technica Cart-don't know which one.It looks Mint, although I haven't auditioned it yet.I can pick it up any time for $300.So,what do you think? Any Info or Opinions on this turntable are welcome.

The DD-40 is a very nice turntable. I own one and like it a lot. It comes with an MA-505 tonearm, a very nice tonearm that on its own frequently sells in the $500-700 range. $300 for a mint table with MA-505 seems like a pretty good deal to me.

Would anyone know where I could find a service manual for this TT? The O.M. is available on Vinyl Engine, but no S.M.

I have one that I picked up cheap, but it needs some work. IIRC, the cueing lever only moves the arm a tiny bit, and the speed is "shifty" which I've been told is bad caps...:scratch2:
It's also missing one of the lateral tone arm weights...:tears:

I could use a copy of the MS overhang guide too...:thmbsp:

AA, I'll have a look at it when I get back into town after the 20th of August if you'd like.

Looks like a cool 'table.

Cheers,

David
