The Spin Clean is a step in the right direction of getting your LPs clean if your on a limited budget. If you continue to purchase LPs from the shop that cleans all their LPs with a VPI RCM about all you will need is a carbon fiber brush to dust off the LPs just prior to putting down the stylus. I'll admit new RCMs from Nitty Gritty, VPI, Record Doctor etc arn't cheap, $300+. But if you go preowned/used the price is a lot less, an example was a Nitty Gritty 1.5 with fluid, brushes etc for $125 on Agon yesterday. Also sold was a VPI 16.5 for around $300. They don't last long and you have to make your move quickly, many being sold within minutes of being listed. The KAB RCM isn't all that exspensive either. If your handy a DIY RCM can be put togeather for very little money useing an old TT and vacume. So don't completely rule out a RCM as being prohibitivly exspensive.
