Pioneer SX-1250

I'm sure this issue has been addressed before here on AK..I just can't seem to locate one that exactly matches my symptom. I have a 1250 that I purchased several years ago and not long after I got it, I started a recapping job of all boards on it. I don't remember if my symptom was going on before or after as it's been awhile now since that first dive into the inside of the unit. When I started the first time, the unit was all original, untouched. I carefully replaced capacitors, some troublesome transistors on all boards except the tuner and EQ (phono) boards..I left those alone at that time. I got a recap kit from a fellow AK'er on eBay, peace, love, affinity or something like that, and used that kit for the 106, 091, 048 boards and whatever other boards that came in the kit. Everything went great, following his written instructions as I went. Since then (if I'm remembering correctly), upon turning the unit on and right after the relay kicks in, there is a soft, low volume background noise or hiss in the speakers. Doesn't matter if the speakers are hooked to different switches or combinations of speaker switches or which front panel switches are turned off or on or combination of those are made..the hiss is still there. It's very low volume, very much in the background..but I remember reading a post somewhere on here that the 1250 is mostly dead quiet. I lived with it after, as raising the volume to listening levels the hiss was not heard..but it's on the bench again for a deep cleaning of all switches, push buttons, the volume control, recapping the EQ board, changing main filter capacitors, cleaning inside, etc, etc. I thought I'd throw this issue out there and maybe someone could point me to a place to look at since it's apart at the moment. Grounding issue perhaps?

I've had to replace noisy transistors in the preamp side and amp side. Dave's suggestion above should narrow down the location of the noisy component.

Thank you guys! As soon as I get everything back together and to the point of connecting speakers, I do that.
