Sansui 5000x install new F-6013 Boards help

Hello,
I was helping out a friend who had a clean and unmolested Sansui 5000x with the original F-1040-1 boards. He wanted some help with putting in the Bonzoro F-6013. I wanted to make sure the unit was sound and capped the tone board and some of the other boards and made sure unit was functioning properly before making the swap in the boards.

I also ordered new Output Transistors as recommended by the installation of the new boards. I then noticed when installing these boards that I had a few extra wires and went back and looked at the bulletin that was provided by Bonzoro and noticed that I need to do a few things prior to get this to properly work with F-6013 Boards.

My unit had the R-1150 stamp on the back and based on that its recommended to remove the thermistors and also cut the blue and grey leads which connect 18Kohm resistors.
It also states remove capacitors and resistors (C027,C028,R041,R042) from the speaker switch. I cut them out but wasn't sure if this meant I still needed to have leads going to those locations.

Don’t see this answered at all. A lot of useful info here. But I am also unsure at the moment if I can just take that whole thing out or does it need new leads. Because it doesn’t seem to be of any use.
