The rarest speakers you own or have owned?

How do the Niagaras sound?
They are great speakers. Extremely well balanced across the frequency spectrum and they dont change character or lose anything as the power levels increase. Two and a half way design with the two otherwise identical woofers having different crossover points. They also have a passive radiator monted on the bottom that fires downward (visible in the photos). Only criticisms soundwise are 1. they dont go super low on bass freqs and 2. the tweeter enclosure makes the highs a bit directional, making listening position important. The big non sound quality criticism is that they cost an absolute fortune. But hey, your kids dont need college tuition that bad do they? I was super lucky to get them at a, relatively speaking, low price. They were still the most expensive audio gear purchase I have ever made by far. I enjoyed them and flipped them about a year later. Ive had floorstanding speakers that were better IMO and cost far less, such as Paradigm Reference Studio 100, which go for about $1000 used. They are even more beautiful in person than in the photos. Everyone who came over and saw them had questions and compliments. A Modernist architecture style home with floor to ceiling glass would be an ideal aesthetic match.

1970-1972 Sansui AS-300, 3-way, Acoustic Suspension big box floor-standing speakers - like KLH or AR. They Sounded simply Wonderful !!! AlNiCo magnets too.

Problem: TOO RARE
.

Blew a woofer and ZERO spare parts. In the closet they went, taking up a lot of space, for 7 years while I searched 'daily' for a woofer replacement in 5 countries. 'No Joy' - I finally gave up & got rid of them. 3 weeks later a woofer 'popped up' on eBay. :dunno: I just couldn't believe it. There - it - was. That's the way it goes sometimes. o_O

Never seen another replacement speaker since - - until Yesterday. 2 used speakers in perfect shape came up for sale in Japan.

Lessons Learned: I'm DONE with RARE anything that has *parts*.

Here are a few pictures to help identify these speakers. Does anyone know anything about this brand or company, where they’re from or when they were made?

Had posted this thread on here a while back and came up empty. I thought I would give it a refresh to see if any fresh eyes have any information on these speakers or this brand or speaker company.

A pair of EV Georgian 400s . My dad bought them from the Philadelphia music hall back in the 70s . When he passed they came to me . I still have the original paperwork inc. Crossover schematics with notations .the speakers were destroyed in freinds flooded basement . Lets just say they were Incredible and mind-boggling efficient .
